IRSA State Workshop Committee Chair/Coordinator
Per IRSA Bylaws Article 5 Section 6, the President/State Director Elect is responsible for serving as the chair of the State Workshop Committee thus fulfilling the role of Workshop Coordinator. This individual is responsible for answering questions, coordinating directly with the host institution, and monitoring committee progress as necessary.

Primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Attend all State Workshop conference calls and the State Workshop summer planning meeting, and State Workshop
- Assist the State Workshop Committee with coordinating, planning, and executing activities specific to the State Workshop
- Assist the State Workshop Committee and host institution with establishing and maintain in project timelines
- Assist the State Workshop Committee in delegating tasks
- Assist the State Workshop Committee and host institution in scheduling meetings and organizing agendas
- Support the State Workshop Committee’s planning endeavors and offer guidance and constructive feedback as necessary
- Keep the Executive Committee up-to-date on project timelines
- Attend and participate in quarterly IRSA Committee Chair conference calls
IRSA State Workshop Chair should:
- Be the current IRSA President/State Director Elect
- Be available to attend the IRSA State Workshop summer planning meeting and IRSA State Workshop
- Have experience in workshop/conference planning and execution or large-scale programmatic planning and execution
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and leadership skills
