Will Evans
Senior Assistant Director, Wellness Programs
Purdue University

Will Evans is the Senior Assistant Director, Wellness Programs at Purdue University’s Recreation and Wellness department where he has enhanced students’ well-being over the last six years. Will is the current President of the Mid-American College Health Association where he helps promote best practices to other institutions in the region. His collaboration with local, state, and national organizations to garner funding for prevention efforts has resulted in the creation of new well-being spaces, health campaigns, and increased services for students including social support groups, alcohol prevention education, and more. He has worked with colleagues and faculty to produce publications in health promotion and advocacy methodologies and is an instructor in Purdue’s College of Health and Kinesiology. Will is driven by the belief that wellness is everyone’s responsibility and tries to instill passion and movement toward well-being with those he works with. Will holds a master’s degree in higher education from the University of West Georgia.
